Ka Nūhou Haʻaheo a ke Kula Kaiapuni o Pūʻōhala!!
Hoʻomaikaʻi ʻana i ka papa 5/6 -- Lā Mele 2017 Waha ʻōlelo & Hui hīmeni 1st place winners! E kū haʻaheo!!! 1st place again for the 2nd year in a row! We are so proud of our haumāna and especially mahalo our kumus: Kumu Waianuhea, Kumu Kaikaiana, & last yearʻs Kumu Hoʻopono. And, all the other kumu, makua and the larger Pūʻōhala community who came together for our keiki to help them to succeed! Hoʻomaikaʻi ʻana pū iā Pāhonu Coleman (papa 6) who represented Pūʻōhala so well in the soloist competition.
Paikau Kalikimaka - ke Kula Kaiapuni o Pūʻōhala received a 1st place award for our float! Mahalo to all the haumana, makua and kumu for coming out. It was great to see our families out building pilina, keiki singing their hearts out on the float and older haumana helping to distribute flyers. Kāneʻohe support papa 7! Ola ka ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi!
HMOP Loʻi Workdays - Kākoʻo ʻŌiwi

Loʻi Workdays allow us to mālama ʻāina with our ʻohana & provides kalo for Kaiapuni events.
E kākoʻo kākou!! Bring: water, snacks, hat & sunscreen.
Directions: From Windward mall, head Kahalu'u bound on Kamehameha Hwy, after King Intermediate, the road goes down a slight hill, and at the bottom, (after the last residential home) there is a dirt road on the mauka side of the street. If you go on the bridge you've gone too far! Follow the dirt road in and park by our office and supply shed area. The loʻi is a short walk from there.
